Rod Dog captures the working-dog side of the outdoors with a hand-drawn bird dog pushing through shallow water with a fishing rod in tow. The loose pen strokes, splashing water, marshy backdrop, and earthy washed colors give the artwork the feel of an old sporting illustration—rugged, imperfect, and full of character without trying too hard.
